Worship Outline
October 5,  2025
Prelude to Worship                                                           Come People of the Risen King

Welcome / Announcements

Call to Worship:                                                                                                 Psalm 115:1-3

Not to us, O LORD, not to us, but to your name give glory, for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness! Why should the nations say, “Where is their God?” Our God is in the heavens; he does all that he pleases.

Invocation

Worship in Song                                                      Blessed Assurance (All My Attempts)

Confession of Sin

Heavenly Father, God of love, it is your will that we should love you with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and that we should love our neighbor as ourselves, but we are not sufficient for these things. We confess that our affections continually turn away from you – from purity to lust, from freedom to slavery, from compassion to indifference, from fullness to emptiness. Have mercy on us. Order our lives by your holy Word and make your commandments the joy of our hearts. Conform us to the image of your loving Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ, that we may shine before the world and glorify You. Amen.

Assurance of Pardon                                                                                Colossians 2:13-14

And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross.
